The Journal of Evolutionary Biology (JEB) is seeking a Data Editor to develop and oversee efforts to maximise transparency, reproducibility and reusability of research in our society journal. This position is likely well-suited to a mid-career evolutionary biologist with experience in computational biology and coding and an interest in open science. The individual taking on the role will be a full member of the Editorial Board and uniquely positioned to shape the open research policies of the journal going forward.
We are seeking a motivated individual to:
- Further develop JEB’s data and code deposition policies.
- Work alongside our editorial office to ensure compliance with our policies.
- Develop solutions to make JEB articles more open and interactive for our readership.
